remember, as a kid, seeing the TV ads for Silent Scream and being
absolutely terrified by the part when the girl gets dragged kicking
and screaming into a hole in the wall. Well, as I may be the only
person who actually owns a copy of this long out of print movie, I
can tell you on good authority that the scene is STILL unnerving.
Imagine being in your basement, quietly doing your laundry, when some
unseen psychopath busts through the wall, grabs you, than pulls you
into an unknown hole of horror (no, not Britney Spears' crotch).
Although the film is pretty hit and miss, the scene definitely
provided nightmare materials for many unfortunate kids that saw the
scary commercial back in 1980."
