The scene where Fegus
goes to Dil's apartment and finds out her secret surprise is a
wonderfully done moment that uses shock, anger, and ultimately
sadness to amazing effect. Though the moment was spoiled by many who
saw the movie, those who didn't were truly surprised and screamed out
loud in the theater. Jaye Davidson's performance was incredible and
it's a shame he hasn't done much acting since then. I was considering
removing this from the list due to many homophobic people taking the
scene the wrong way (just read the idiotic YouTube comments for
starters), but I like it a lot and think it stands out as one of the
all time shocking moments of movie history, so it will remain.
